After spending 4 years away from the silver screen, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma set Instagram wild with her pictures of Qala, which was released on Netflix on December 1st. Anushka made a special appearance in the song Ghode Pe Sawaar in which she is sporting the fashionable saree and accessories in a stunning black and white montage. And we must say, she has captured the charm and appeal of a heroine of yesteryears perfectly.
Speaking about the movie Qala, it is directed by Anvita Dutt and also marks the debut of Babil Khan, son of the late Irrfan Khan. The Bollywood actress shared her look on Instagram with the caption, “Loved loved loved being a part of #QALA’s journey! (sic)”. When asked about her special appearance, she said that she “did this song for the fun of it” and that she had a great time playing a yesteryear actress. She also expressed her happiness at people liking her looks so much, especially since she is on the screen after some time.
The film’s story focuses on a daughter and a mother’s relationship and airs on Netflix. Among the many reviews shared on social media, Anushka was one of them. Sharing her review, she said “Qala is a work of art. It’s heartbreaking and exhilarating equally “. Speaking further, she said that the film was heartbreaking in its portrayal of a daughter’s search for her mother’s love and it was exhilarating because every department of the film has showcased their genius in telling the detailed story.
