Angelina Jolie Talks About Life After Separation From Brad Pitt

In a recent interview with Vogue, Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie revealed the hardships she had faced after her divorce. Jolie and Pitt were together for 12 years as a couple with 2 years in a marriage. Throughout this relationship, the couple faced a lot of media attention regarding their personal lives, with bad-tasting rumors that flew around, Angelina had health issues and amid all of this, they shared six children namely Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and the twins Vivienne and Knox.

The Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie has been Hollywood’s highest-paid actress several times. She started her acting career as a child artist alongside her father, Jon Voight. She is best known for her performances in movies like Girl, Interrupted (1999), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), Wanted (2008), Salt (2010), The Tourist (2010), Maleficent (2014), and several others.

Jolie talked about how her motherhood redefined her life. “I was 26 when I became a mother. My entire life changed. Having children saved me – taught me to be in this world differently,” the actress said.

Angelina took the responsibility of raising their children after the separation from her husband. She admitted she and her children have gone through difficulties in recent years. The actress said if it would not have been for her children she “would’ve gone in a much darker way”.

The Hollywood star said she had to do a lot of healing to withstand difficult times. At the age of 48, she confessed to being “in transition as a person”. She didn’t want to share too much detail about her private life but she highlighted that life has been challenging for her after the divorce.

On the work front, Jolie will be featured on the cover of the November edition of Vogue magazine this year. She has also started her fashion company, Atelier. When asked about her plans with the new business she said, “I don’t want to be a big fashion designer, I want to build a house for other people to become that. I’m hoping to change many aspects of my life. And this is the forward-facing one.”
