And when they are linked together romantically, we cannot help but cheer for the reel life romance to be a real life romance. In a seeming confirmation of yet another such story, actor Varun Dhawan confirmed rumours that the Telugu star Prabhas and Bollywood heartthrob Kriti Sanon are in a relationship.
While this was not directly or explicitly stated, Varun, who recently starred in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, recently mentioned while on the sets that Kriti’s heart belonged to someone- a popular way of indicating romance. While not mentioning Prabhas’ name directly, Varun had said that the person, ‘is shooting with Deepika Padukone’. This of course refers to Prabhas who is currently occupied with the shooting of Project K, which also stars Deepika Padukone. Varun’s exact statement went thus, “Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath.” Apparently on hearing this, Kriti looked bemused and she blushed.
Rumours on Kriti Sanon’s personal life received an impetus when in an interview with India Today, Kriti was asked on who she would marry, flirt or date among Kartik Aaryan, Tiger Shroff and Prabhas. Kriti had replied,”I would flirt with Kartik, date Tiger, and would rather get married to Prabhas.”
The rumoured couple have yet to confirm their romance so fans of both the actors will have to wait for the good news. Kriti and Prabhas will be seen together in the movie Adipurush, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh. The movie is expected to release in June 2023, being pushed from January 2023. Kriti was last seen in Bhediya with Varun Dhawan and will be starring next in Shehzada and Ganapath while Prabhas, apart from Adipurush, has Salaar in the pipeline.
