National Film Awards 2023: Allu Arjun Takes Best Actor Award, Check Out The Winners List

The much-awaited 69th National Film Awards were unveiled with great fervor at the National Media Center in New Delhi, where the finest cinematic achievements from across the country were honored. These awards hold a distinguished position as they annually recognize and celebrate the most outstanding talent in the Indian film industry. 

The coveted Best Actor award found its deserving recipient in Allu Arjun, acclaimed for his riveting performance in Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1. The Best Actress accolade was shared by Alia Bhatt for her spellbinding role in Gangubai Kathiawadi and the talented Kriti Sanon for her heartwarming performance in Mimi.

The award for Best Supporting Actors was bestowed upon Pallavi Joshi for her impactful role in The Kashmir Files and the versatile Pankaj Tripathi for his remarkable contribution to Mimi. 

R.Madhavan starrer and directorial Rocketry: The Nambi Effect emerged triumphant, clinching the title of Best Feature Film. The jury commended the film for its content, craftsmanship, and creativity. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was crowned the Best Editor for his magnum opus, Gangubai Kathiawadi, a film he both directed and edited. The Best Hindi Feature Film award was claimed by Vicky Kaushal starrer movie Sardar Udham. 

The winners’ circle extended to various languages, including Chello Show for Best Gujarati Film and 777 Charlie for Best Kannada Film. Additionally, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files was honored with the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Awards.
