The “Pathaan” trailer has been released after a protracted wait, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. For every SRK fan who has been waiting patiently for him to enchant us on the big screen since 2018, the Siddharth Anand-directed movie is a pleasure. Following a five-year absence on the big screen in the starring role, Shah Rukh Khan is back with this film.

Pathaan, an action bonanza from Yash Raj Films, will be released in theatres on January 25 as a part of Aditya Chopra’s grandiose spy universe. Shah Rukh Khan posted the trailer’s announcement on his official social media accounts. “Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.@deepikapadukone | @thejohnabraham | #SiddharthAnand | @yrf.”

Dimple Kapadia’s narration introduces the trailer, outlining the aim of a private terror squad against India, led by John Abraham. Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan) must put an end to his ‘vanvaas’ (exile) in order to combat him. At this time, Shah Rukh joins the scene and delivers some tough dialogue, such as “Party pathaan ke ghar rakhoge toh mehmaannawazi ke liye Pathaan toh aayega, aur pathaake bhi layega.” Like any modern action movie, the movie’s action sequences are VFX-heavy.

Pathaan has been making quite a bit of buzz. People’s expectations were boosted by the teaser for the movie, which was unveiled in November of last year to celebrate Shah Rukh’s 57th birthday. However, when the first song from the movie, “Besharam Rang,” was released on December 12, it created issues for the film’s makers. The audience initially berated the song for its uninspiring choreography, and afterwards it became embroiled in debate over the colour of Deepika’s outfits.

Coming to the movie, it has Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in addition to John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, and Shah Rukh Khan as the leads. Salman Khan also makes a brief appearance in Pathaan. The hindi, tamil, and telugu versions of Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan are scheduled for release on January 25, 2023.

Prepare yourself for the Republic Day treat this year.
